Biography

Maja Ruzic is Teaching Assistant at the International Security Studies course, at the Academy of Criminalistic and Police Studies. She has graduated from the Central European University, department of International Relations and European Studies, where she defended her master thesis on the topic The dynamic of security processes outside the Western Liberal environment: Is securitization theory context dependent? After the graduation Ms Ruzic worked as a research fellow at the Research Centre of the Slovak Foreign Policy Association where she conducted research on conflict resolution and the future perspectives of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The research is published in the article Bosnia and Herzegovina: A Continuation of War by Other Means. Besides post-war state building and conflict resolution, Ms Ruzic’s field of interest includes strategic and critical security studies, with the emphasis on Copenhagen School of security studies.
