Biography
Péter Siklósi is Deputy State Secretary for Defence Policy and Planning. Prior to his current position he served both as Defence Counsellor for the Permanent Delegation of the Republic of Hungary to NATO and Director of Defence Policy Section (2007-2010). Among other postings, Mr. Siklósi was seven years Head of Defence Policy Department at the Ministry of Defence (2000-2007), Senior Government Advisor at Prime Minister’s Office for Foreign and Security Policy (1999-2000) and Advisor for Security and Defence Policy Affairs prior to that. Mr. Siklósi has also got three-year long working experience as Defence Policy Advisor to MP Dr. Béla Gyuricza, Vice-Chairman of the Defence Committee of the Parliament (1995-1998).
