Wallace Chwala is a final year student pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Nairobi. He has also followed the Sustainable Leadership in Environmental Risk (SLER) Program at the University of Nairobi in conjunction with Yokohama National University (YNU). He is a global winner of the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) and Brookings Institution Speech-writing Contest of the Secretary General of the United Nations. He also won a UNEP-Bayer Young Environmental Envoy and subsequently obtained the accolade of the Global UNEP-Bayer Young Environmental Envoy and Leader award. His work has also been recognized by the World Bank as amongst the best 200 submissions in thematic presentations in the world. His involvements lie in global governance and international developmental agendas and their relationship to global youth. He is a graduate of the Global Civics Academy where he is also a Fellow.
