Biography
Jelena Pejić Nikić is researcher at the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy and PhD student at the Faculty of Political Science in Belgrade. She holds a BA in International relations and double MA, in International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights Law and in European Studies from the same faculty, where she is also engaged as student teaching assistant. Focus of her future thesis lies on EU normative power in the enlargement process in the Western Balkans. In 2016 Pejic was an intern of the German Bundestag in 2016, as part of the International Parliamentary Sholarship (IPS). Other areas of interest: security sector reform, constitutional reform, privacy and data protection.
