Aleksandar Simurdić (1991) has 8 years of working experience in civil society sector, working with media, adults, youth and other target groups in the fields of Euro-Atlantic Integration, HR management, education, regional cooperation, agriculture and rural development and project cycle management. Simurdić is since 2013 the Secretary General of the European Movement in Serbia, Novi Sad office (EMINS). During his four-year term, a number of projects were successfully implemented. He is in charge of the program of the Regional Youth Leadership Forum, which is co-organised by the European Movement in Serbia – Novi Sad office, the European Fund for the Balkans and the Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence. Simurdić is Member of the Serbian Civil Society in the framework of the ‘Berlin Process’, where EMINS was taking an active part to assist decision makers in their efforts to normalize and enhance regional cooperation, as well as to raise awareness about this process. Since 2015 Simurdić is Member of the Executive Board of the European Movement in Serbia and Team Europe expert for the European Youth Policy at The Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Serbia.
