Biography

Marko Milošević graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy, Department for Sociology in 2004, and obtained an MA degree at the same department in 2009. He is currently a PhD candidate in International and European Studies at the Faculty of Political Science, University of Belgrade. Milosevic has been working at the BCSP as a researcher since 2006. His areas of interest include the privatization of security, multinational operations, new wars, social research, transparency in the security sector, and the defense industry. He was one of the authors that conducted the first empirical research into private security companies in Serbia. He has published numerous articles and policy papers and edited several publications. While working for BCSP, he also provided consultancy to Transparency International UK, the Open Society Justice Initiative, the Geneva Centre for Democratic Control of the Armed Forces, CeSID, Fond Biljana Kovacevic Vuco and others. He is a member of Serbian Sociological Association.
