Kenan Dautović

Kenan Dautović was born on 20 April 1966 in Travnik, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

After completing Air Defence Military Academy in 1989 in Sarajevo and Zadar he completed Air War College in 2000 in Turkey. Since then he attended 25 different courses, seminars and programmes as part of life-long learning process. In 2014 he was promoted to a rank of Brigadier General currently assuming position of Deputy Ops Commander at the Operational Command of AF BiH.

On the academic side he earned his master degree in 2005 and PhD in 2009 at the Faculty of Political Science of University of Sarajevo. Since then he has been teaching 13 programmes at the Faculty of Political Science and American University as Associate Professor on subjects of conflict prevention, geopolitics, international relations, diplomacy, security system and methodology.

He published 3 books and 20 scientific and expert articles and policy papers in Bosnian and English language. He participated at 7 international conferences and took part in 2 international research projects.
