Biography

Ivana Boštjančič Pulko, PhD candidate, graduated with a degree in International Relations from the University of Ljubljana. She is the Project Manager and Researcher at the Centre for European Perspective (CEP), responsible for overall implementation of security sector reform projects in the countries of the Western Balkans in the framework of Slovenia’s official development assistance. Projects she implemented cover topics of organised crime, border security, visa liberalisation, anti-corruption trainings for police, defence sector reform at joining NATO, etc. She has led or participated in several capacity-building, research and evaluation activities in the field of conflict prevention and peacebuilding, focused mainly on Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP), for example the European New Training Initiative for Civilian Crisis Management (ENTRi) and the H2020 research project for Improving the Effectiveness of Capabilities in EU Conflict Prevention (IECEU).
