Christopher Coker is Director of LSE IDEAS and Prof of International Relations at LSE. He is author of many books including The Rise of the Civilizational State and the unmaking of world order (2019) He is a regular lecturer at the NATO Defence College Rome), the Royal College of Defence Studies (London) and the National Institute of Defense Studies Tokyo).
