Presentation of the policy brief: The Visegrad Group: Exploring New Agenda for the Western Balkans (co-organised with the Slovak Atlantic Commission)

On the margin of the Forum, policy brief entitled “The Visegrad Group: Exploring New Agenda for the Western Balkans” will be presented. The policy brief is a part of the series published in the framework of the Visegrad Policy Briefs: Converging Regional Position project, organized jointly by the the Central European Policy Institute, Slovak Atlantic Commission and the CD International with the financial support of the International Visegrad Fund. The project envisages elaboration of four expert policy briefs on selected security-related topics from the Visegrad point of view. These contain well-reasoned policy recommendations that should be used as an expert input of the regional non-governmental community for debate on issues relevant to the V4 countries.

The authors of the policy brief “The Visegrad Group: Exploring New Agenda for the Western Balkans”, presented at the BSF 2012 are: Amb. István Gyarmati is President of the Centre for Democracy Public Foundation, Hungary, Milan Nič works as Senior Fellow at the Central European Policy Institute, Slovakia, Jan Vlkovský is a Western Balkans expert at the Jagello 2000 Association, Czech Republic and Tomasz Żornaczuk is analyst at the Polish Institute of International Affairs, Poland.
