Biography

Dr. Filip Ejdus is a Marie Curie Fellow at the School of Sociology, Politics and International Studies at the University of Bristol and an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Belgrade. Most recently his work has been published in European Security, the Cambridge Review of International Affairs, the Journal of International Relations and Development and South-East European and Black Sea Studies. His most recent edited book is titled Memories of Empire and Entry into International Society: Views from the European Periphery (Routledge 2017). Ejdus is also a co-Editor in Chief of the Journal of Regional Security. He has been closely involved with the security policy community as a board member of the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (since 2007), academic coordinator at the Belgrade Security Forum (2010-2015) and the co-chair of the Regional Stability in South-East Europe Study Group at the Partnership for Peace (PfP) Consortium of Defence Academies and Security Studies Institutes (since 2010).
