Emsad Dizdarević was born in Cazin, Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1985, where he completed his elementary and high school. Mr. Dizdarević graduated from the Faculty of Political Science, University of Sarajevo, where he is currently studying for his master’s degree in National Security and Democratic Society Program. For more than 7 years Mr. Dizdarević has been dealing with security issues and conducting research related to these topics. He is the author of several research papers: Strengthening Intelligence Governance in the Western Balkans, A Case Study of Bosnia and Herzegovina; A Review of Security Sector Reform in Bosnia and Herzegovina; a chapter on Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Almanac on Security Sector Reform in the Western Balkans etc. Mr. Dizdarević is currently employed as a Project Coordinator and researcher in the Centre for Security Studies in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
