Peter Horne Zartsdahl

Peter Horne Zartsdahl is a PhD Candidate at Roskilde University, where his research focuses on the comparative study of civil-military synergies in EU’s missions on the Balkans and Horn of Africa. He holds a Master’s Degree in African Studies from the University of Copenhagen and is a former military graduate from the Royal Danish Defence College. He recently joined the university and the EU-CIVCAP research consortium from a position as Civil-military Coordination Officer for the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), where he was stationed until May 2016. Peter has previously done extensive field research in Mali, South Sudan, DR Congo and Uganda.
