Nebojša Miljanović has been responsible for technical conceptualization and realization of each Belgrade Security Forum, from 2011 to the present day. At the very event, he takes care that no participant or speaker should pay any particular attention to the technical and logistical background of the Belgrade Security Forum – precisely because they have been provided with every support they need. This is a necessary prerequisite for focused and productive discussions that have significantly contributed to European and global security debate.
He coordinates the logistics of the Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence since its establishment in 2003,
Holding a B.A. in Economy from University of Belgrade, Nebojša has several decades of business experience in performing a wide range of logistical and technical support, as well as event management tasks behind him. Successfully organized and executed conferences, events and initiatives in his rich career include “10 years of Open Society Foundation in Serbia”, “Bluebird Initiative – Agenda for Civil Society in South-East Europe”, “Serbia – 5 Years After Democratic Changes”, “Serbia on the Road to Europe – 10 Years After”, “10 Years of OSCE Mission in Serbia”, “10 Years of BFPE – Searching for Responsible Democracy”, “Regional Academy for Democracy”, “Public Dialogue on Sustainable Energy in South-East Europe”, “Belgrade Dialogues” and many others. Experienced in public, corporate and non-governmental sectors alike, his previous employers include Fund for an Open Society (Soros Foundation), Yugoslav Airlines (JAT) and “Moma Stanojlović” air force institute.
