Biography

Nadiia Koval is the Head of the Centre for International Studies at the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine.  She holds MA degree in Political Science/European Studies of the National University “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” and a diploma of a non-degree postgraduate course in East European Studies of the University of Warsaw. She conducted research on comparative international reconciliation issues at the National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations (INALCO, Paris). Nadiia previously worked as an analyst in foreign policy and security issues at the National Institute for Strategic Studies and the Ukrainian Institute for the Future. She is also a cofounder and Board Member of the Foreign Policy Council “Ukrainian Prism”, which prepares comprehensive annual reviews of Ukrainian foreign policy. Her research interests are focused on post-conflict settlement and reconciliation policies, contemporary politics of European Union and its member states (France, Poland, Great Britain, Greece etc.).
