Biography

Dr Jelica Minić is the former Deputy Secretary General of the Regional Cooperation Council. Dr Minić has more than 30 years experience in research and policy making for European integration and regional cooperation, having held top level positions in state administration, at NGOs and in academia. Dr Minić has worked as a consultant or team leader for several projects by the German Marshall Fund in Serbia, the European Integration Fund of the European Agency for Reconstruction and the UNDP. Besides lecturing on regional integration, EU Enlargement Policy and globalization at the University of Podgorica Economic Faculty’s course in International Economy (2000-2004), she gives regular lectures on Regional Initiatives in South East Europe, EU Enlargement Policy and EU relations with Serbia (Serbia and Montenegro) at the Diplomatic Academy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Belgrade, the Belgrade Open School and at seminars by the Belgrade Fund for Political Excellency. Dr Minić has published over 150 articles, essays and book chapters, around 50 conference papers, and is editor of several books and reviews.
