Biography

Dr. Neil Winn is Senior Lecturer in European Studies at the School of Politics and International Studies (POLIS), University of Leeds, U.K. His work lies at the intersection of international relations and European politics. His research has focused on European Union Foreign and Security Policy and the international relations of Europe. His main publications include EU Foreign Policy Beyond the Nation State: Joint Actions and Institutional Analysis of the Common Foreign and Security Policy (Palgrave), Neo-Medievalism and Civil Wars (Frank Cass), and Europeanisation: Regulation and Identity in the New Europe (Brill). Dr. Winn has been Visiting Professor of European Politics at KU Leuven, the College of Europe, Bruges and has been Visiting Senior Fellow at Egmont: The Royal Belgian Institute of International Affairs, Brussels. He is also published in numerous journals.
