Biography

Dr Denisa Kostovicova is an Associate Professor of Global Politics at the European Institute and the Department of Government at the London School of Economics and Political Science. After obtaining a doctorate from the University of Cambridge, she held Junior Research Fellowships at Wolfson College, Cambridge, and Linacre College, Oxford. Her primary research interest is post-conflict reconstruction, with a focus on transitional justice, civil society and democratisation. She is the author of Kosovo: The Politics of Identity and Space (2005), and editor and co-editor of numerous edited volumes and journal special issues. Her articles have been published in Ethnic and Racial Studies, Security Dialogue, Third World Quarterly, and International Journal of Transitional Justice, among others. Alongside academic publications, she regularly contributes to policy analysis.
