Side Event: National Dialogue Platform – Dialogue for the Future
National Platform for Dialogue as a part of the Joint Regional Program “Dialogue for the Future: Promotion of the Dialogue and Social Cohesion in/and between Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Republic of Serbia” is implemented by UNDP, UNICEF and UNESCO, and financed by UN Peace-building Fond (UN PBF).
“Platforms for the Dialogue” are mechanisms for providing formal space for interaction between citizens and decision makers via dialogue. Platforms should encourage youth, civil society, academy, media, and citizens to jointly promote and implement activities in building confidence and strengthening social cohesion in Republic of Serbia and in the region.
Growth and development of every society dictates that all citizens, especially the youth, become active participants in the society and the drivers of change, which will be possible with the representatives of their government, partake in development of policies with a goal to overcome key challenges which we are facing in our society and in region also.
